As we wake up today, we might have had that thought of today being Father’s Day. However, what does that exactly mean? Do we buy the person who had sex with our mother a gift? Did we grow up in a traditional family that is no longer traditional? Do we take a moment to thank the person who wasn’t biologically our dad but raised us a his own? Do we honor the man who taught us peace and presence? There are many different ways and experiences that the men in our lives who either called themselves our father or are biologically our dad, have given to us throughout our life.
Unfortunately, we are living in a world of male toxicity that we chose to create. In today’s world men are taught not to feel their feelings, not to show emotion, and definitely not to tap into their feminine side. This may create many issues when choosing to celebrate Father’s Day.
Inside each human we carry a masculine and feminine side. Think of it as our yin and our yang or balance. It’s really the emotions that are tied to a stronger or a softer side on each of us. It is really about maturity versus immaturity.
In our yin (mature feminine) it is softer, more intuitive, sensual, sensitive graceful and honest. While we are in our yang (mature masculine) it serves as a force like fire and rational thinking. Yang also is more grounding, responsible and forgiving.
So, what happens when we are in emotions tied to immaturity? Well, on the yin side it is more being irresponsible, blaming others, manipulating, jealousy, and neurotic. While the immaturity in our yang energy is people pleasing, isolated, criticizes, stubborn and is aggressive.
The very first step in changing this is admitting that you are human and are here on earth school to learn how to rise up in maturity in your yin and yang energy.
Nowadays most men are not being taught how to be in their yin, but guess what? Neither are women. We live in a world that we no longer like to be touched. Most people I talk with believe sex is just something you do to reach a goal.
We are taught we need more money for things, and we need to step up our game and our hustle. To achieve this, we need to be more aggressive, instead of softening our system while using our intuition and visions.
We need to believe in manifesting more and using intentional language.
In 2020 a new process of distancing ourselves from others created yet another block to not be in our yin. It taught us to be afraid of connection, purpose, passion and drive.
Being involved with toxic internet social media, listening or watching the news, and engaging in low vibrational activities really keeps us stuck in our immaturity yin and yang.
The process of getting out of your masculine and feminine immaturity involves creating a practice for yourself. This is sometimes called: “Doing the work”.
Creating your practice could involve things like:

Silence and stillness
